June and July were exceptionally cold this year. Luckily we received lots of blankets, so all the elderly could keep warm. A big thanks to all who contributed.

Regretfully Polokong Centre for the Elderly has been closed with immediate effect. The reason is that the elderly can’t come to the centre anymore, as they can’t maintain a distance of 1-2 meter during traveling to and from the centre.…

Hartelijk dank aan Lindsay Drager van Delta Physio & Pilates voor het helpen van de ouderen van Polokong om fit te blijven, zonder hiervoor iets in rekening te brengen.

One of the favourite activities at the centre is a ball game. The ball has a bell inside, so also visually disabled elderly can participate.

Thank you so much, community of the Protestant Church Neede, for your gift. We used the money to buy materials and games especially designed for visual handicapped elderly.
